Brian’s 30-year career in management and fund raising with United Ways included starting a Community Foundation, now in it’s 10th year; co-sponsoring a $10 million Annie E. Casey grant, establishing homeless shelters, and raising millions for health and human services agencies in 5 communities. For the past 8 years, Brian has been a senior associate in a large consulting firm, conducting development assessments, feasibility studies and strategic planning in California organizations. In that capacity, he recognized the tremendous need for expert counsel in the mid-sized and smaller not-for-profits and joined in co-founding Certified Fundraising Services, Inc.

Donna has been developing and managing non-for-profit organizations since 1971. Her experience includes 17 years with United Way of Los Angeles, serving in senior management positions. During her career, she managed annual fundraising programs in ranges up to $22 million. Donna’s experience includes annual and capital campaigns; feasibility studies; grant writing; events; major gifts and planned giving. For the past twelve years, Donna has served as consultant for a wide variety of not-for-profit organizations throughout Southern California. She earned her Master of Business Administration at Pepperdine University and is an Instructor with the fundraising faculty at UCSD Extension. She is a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG).

With forty-six years of experience in not-for-profit work, Art has organized, incorporated, secured funding for and managed six community based service providers. His ongoing work with San Diego organizations results in incredibly strong support for community service programs, major gift and capital campaigns for summer camp programs, low-income senior housing projects and community centers. Now in senior status, he is offering his services as a consultant with Certified Fundraising Services, Inc.
